How to re glaze old windows: Only replace the outer putty with Nu-Glaze:

With this method, one can keep the glass in the frame (without the risk of the glass breaking). SImply remove the outer putty, clean and prepare the exposed frame, measure, mitre-cut the four sides and with the special neutral cure silicone, install the frontal triangular section of the Nu-Glaze gasket in place. This specially designed feature allows one to remove the L-shaped back part and with the resultant triangular quarter”flat”, get some brilliant finishes.

It is suitable for many applications, for instance where counter surfaces meet tiles, in the corners of a shower, where the bath tub meets the wall, etc, etc…
